As one of the prominent video production companies in New Mexico, we’ve been among the top video production and film companies in the Albuquerque region since 2003. Owners Ed and Kim Smith soon expanded Edit House Productions into a full-service advertising agency, eventually branching off the advertising agency into its division called Ad House Advertising.

Ad House Advertising was the first New Mexico company to reach the status of a Google Partner, Google’s recognition of digital agencies that meet their performance and educational standards.

Edit House is always working to stay ahead of the curve of industry standards. In 2007, we set the HD standard in New Mexico, as the state’s first video production company to produce high-definition video. We worked with local television stations to develop the compression standards still in use today.

Today, Edit House Productions shoots on 4K cameras instead of HD, producing web videos for online marketing and websites, television and radio commercials, and long-format videos and documentaries. Throughout the years, Edit House Productions has produced dozens of award-winning videos, documentaries, and television commercials.

We have dozens of creative awards under our belts for post-production, art direction, cinematography, writing, directing, and producing. Ed Smith, the president, has been collecting them since 1985. Matt Smith, videographer/editor, won his first national awards in 2012 for editing and now is up to 11 statues. Among the larger, national and international awards are Addys, Tellys, and Aurora Awards. The statues and plaques are nice, but we love our clients’ results!
