Edit House Productions, LLC, and sister company Ad House Advertising, had the privilege to host two established journalists on September 11th and 18th, 2015 to shadow employees and learn about digital media. The journalists, Kristina Jackunaite and Sandugash Kenzhebayeva, came to visit the United States from Lithuania and Kazakhstan through an international program called Global Ties ABQ.
Kristina Jackunaite works as a TV journalist in Lithuania. She has a master’s degree in journalism from Vilnius University in Lithuania, and was most excited to learn about digital communication and how to write content for TV audiences and for social media platforms.
Sandugash Kenzhebayeva is the chief editor at “TAN” TV channel in Kazakhstan. She has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the International Kazakh-Turkish University of Almaty and a master’s degree in Kazakh Literature from Kazakh National Pedagogical University of Almaty. She was very interested in understanding new social media marketing tactics and analytics learning the new trends in digital media and production.
During their visit to Edit House Productions and Ad House Advertising, both journalists were exposed to new digital media production methods including video editing, graphic design software, and social media marketing and monitoring. Both started their journey through the United States in Washington, D.C. before coming to New Mexico for a week. The final stop of their month long tour was Los Angeles, CA. Edit House Productions and Ad House Advertising are honored to have shared knowledge with them about digital advertising and production techniques.

She has held several positions managing graphics and marketing departments for small businesses and corporate businesses locally and across the country. She truly loves her field of work and even carries her creativity into her spare time with photography, fine art, and music. When she isn’t working and being creative she also loves the outdoors, sports, and spending time with family and friends.
