In April of 2013, 10-year-old Courtney Edgin was severely injured when her family vehicle was struck by a motorhome at Unser and Northern, here in Rio Rancho. Courtney’s injuries were so severe that she was not expected to survive the helicopter flight to a local hospital’s trauma unit, just minutes away.

With the help of police, fire, EMS, and surgical staff, Courtney did survive, but now her family faces monumental expenses related to her care and almost a month in the hospital. It will be months, or possibly years, before Courtney is able to resume normal activities and the life of a normal 10-year-old.

Saturday, September 28th at 8:00am, local organizations, businesses and our community will be participating in a golf tournament to help off-set expenses and to salute the first-responders who helped save Courtney’s young life.

Please help us by showing support for Courtney!
