Ed Smith has been in television since the 80s and began Edit House Productions, LLC in 2000. He grew up in Culver City, California, where he enjoyed hanging out with his father on the sets of MGM Studios. Ed has been awarded dozens of Addy, Telly and Aurora Awards for cinematography, directing, and art direction. Over the years, Ed has produced for Fortune 500 companies like Pizza Hut, Cessna Aircraft, Coleman, and Rent-A-Center. Now, Ed is focused on B2C companies to create targeted video projects that will grow their business-- on air and online. Ed earned a MA in Communications and a BA in Radio-TV-Film from Fort Hays State University in Hays, Kansas.

Kim says she's always been fascinated with mass communication and the way that people receive news, advertisements, and information. At Edit House, she's involved in the development of video messages for our clients' broadcast, web, and training videos as well as media buying for our clients. She loves learning the specifics of each client's business and designing a plan to move them forward. Kim also loves documentary production and has won several national and international awards for writing and production. Kim earned her MA and BA degrees in Mass Communication from the University of South Dakota, then taught at state universities in Kansas before starting her own advertising agency in 1990.

Matt, quite literally, grew up around television production and began working for Edit House Productions, LLC at a young age. Matt attended CNM and today, he is a multiple Telly Award winning editor. Matt’s extensive knowledge of Final Cut Pro 7 and 10, along with Adobe Premier Pro provides multiple options for editing professional content. In addition, Matt can efficiently create motion graphics and animation content, providing clients with a one-of-a-kind video production. Matt is married to his high-school sweetheart, Kaitlin. They enjoy spending time with their daughter, cooking, family, and music.

As our Office Manager, Danielle does it all! She’s a digital advertising expert, skilled client account manager, professional bookkeeper, and adept HR specialist – we honestly don’t know how she keeps everything organized! Danielle received her Accounting Certification from UNM Anderson School of Management and has undergone rigorous training with Google for digital advertising. At Ad House Advertising, whenever we start a new digital campaign, it’s Danielle who sets and monitors goal tracking – she can tell you exactly how much return you’re getting on your adspend!
When Danielle isn’t at work, she’s spending time with her husband and son, or working on DIY home projects. Danielle also has two adorable dogs, Bella and Bron-Bron.

With over 10 years of professional web and graphic design experience, Matthew specializes in versatile web and print designs, combining detail-oriented technical design with engaging content, to maximize our clients’ brands across multiple media platforms.
Matthew’s design background includes website development (front end & back), UX/UI design, HTML e-newsletter design, advertising campaigns, and print production. Matthew believes that behind every great design is an important business objective. He is committed to seeking new, technical, and visually appealing ways to deliver outstanding content. In his free time, he enjoys the finer side of online gaming and sightseeing.
Accounting Assistant and Receptionist
When you visit Ad House Advertising, Christina’s is the first smiling face you see! Christina assists with accounting and bookkeeping, and coordinates client meetings to keep things running smoothly here at Ad House.
Christina majored in psychology at the Metropolitan State University of Denver, and has put her understanding of people to use in various customer service roles. She has extensive experience in administrative work, customer service, and social media, and is fascinated by advertising, marketing, and consumer behavior.
When she’s not answering phones or handling accounting duties at Ad House, you can usually find her coaching men’s recreational softball, watching YouTube makeup tutorials and mastering her next look, or spending time with her husband, family, and friends.
Business Development Director
Karen joined Ad House in 2017 with more than 20 years in marketing for a local TV station. She will develop digital and traditional advertising solutions for clients, bridging companies' need to expand into digital advertising. She has a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Southern California, double majoring in Journalism and International Relations.
In her spare time, she enjoys travel and hanging out with her teenaged son.

James Blackburn is our production assistant, and he has over 12 years of experience on both sides of the camera. James has always loved film, he’s worked on over 100 movies and TV shows both as an actor and behind the scenes. James has won 2 Rocky Mountain Regional Emmy Awards for his videography and editing.
Here at Edit House, James Blackburn assists with productions, setting up and tearing down equipment, writing scripts, monitoring sound, creating graphics, and editing video content. His experience and enthusiasm bring much value to the Edit House Team.
